Matt Caterer is a bassist and original member of the Chicago punk rock band Smoking Popes, formed in 1990 with his brothers Josh and Eli. He has been a consistent member of the band, playing on major releases such as Born to Quit and Into the Agony.
Musical career and highlights
- Formation: In 1990, he formed the band Speedstick with his brothers. After a brief period, they transitioned into the Smoking Popes, named after a phrase from the film The Pope of Greenwich Village.
